Whitney’s almost one week old and it’s hard to believe how much has happened in just 6 days.  Little did we know that this time last week would be the start of the biggest and best change in our lives.  We went to the hospital around 11pm Tuesday 2/22 and thought it would be a quick check up followed by being sent home to wait for her arrival.  We were surprised and excited to hear that labor had started and she would be coming within the next day! 

The days that have followed have been hard to put into words.  Spending each day with Whitney Olivia is the biggest joy ever!  She gets more beautiful every day and is learning and growing before our eyes.  She’s had a busy week with her first bath, first tummy time and trip to the pediatrician.  She’s already gained an ounce from her birth weight and seems to be growing and changing every day.  We spend hours staring at her and can’t believe the laughs and excitement that she’s already brought to our lives.

We’re enjoying every minute of childhood and can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
