It’s been a busy few weeks, hence the lack of recent blogs!  Whitney is 7 weeks old and tipping the scales at 8 lbs, 12 ounces.  We’re having an amazing time watching her grow and explore.  It seems like something changes with her every day.  In the last few weeks, she’s been learning so many new things.  She’s much more alert, keeps her beautiful blue eyes fixated on vivid colors, kicks her strong legs and makes all sorts of coos.  Our most favorite thing is the smile she gives when she hears our voices.  There is nothing better than that sweet little face staring back at us and flashing a smile.

With some warm weather the past few weeks, we’ve been able to take long walks around Hampton and show her the town and beach that she will call ‘home.’  She loves getting out for fresh air and taking in the scenery.  Mom also loves getting out and ‘strolling’ around the neighborhood.

Whitney has also been traveling and expanding her horizons outside of Hampton, NH.  She’s been to Portsmouth, NH and Newburyport, MA with some of our guests as well as Binghamton, NY to join Bob on a work trip.  Three states in less than 7 weeks isn’t bad for our little world traveler.  Thankfully she loves her car seat and is a great traveler.  She’s also met her uncle and all of her aunts as well as many special friends from near and far.

We’re so thankful for all of the joy and excitement she’s brought to our lives.  It’s hard to believe life without this beautiful girl. 

This weekend’s agenda includes a little extra daddy/daughter time as I head to Portland, ME for a night away.  Say a prayer for all of us…I know I’ll miss her.
